Diagnosis
This is very difficult group to characterise as it includes many diverse taxa. The only characteristics that all taxa seem to have in common are distinct dorsal pubescence, symmetrical tegmen and female ovipositor bearing rather elongate, triangular coxites.

Distribution and Biology
Worldwide. Biology very diverse but most species are predaceous on various Hemiptera.
